Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point Times New Roman font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points.
- The submission is a minimum of 2500 words and does not exceed 12,500 words in total length (including the bibliography).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- All identifying information (name, school affliation, student number, etc.) have been removed from the submission.
- The submission abides by the academic integrity standards detailed in the American Sociological Association's Code of Ethics. For more information, refer to: http://www.asanet.org/sites/default/files/savvy/images/asa/docs/pdf/CodeofEthics.pdf
- All material within the submission has been properly cited in according with the American Sociological Association's (ASA) Style Guide, 5th edition.
- The submission takes place before the call for papers deadline.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
